Every day I am thankful for having a career I love.
Photography is in my blood. My father has been a wedding photographer my entire life and has been my mentor and guide as I develop my own style. After spending several years searching for a satisfying career in computer science, human-computer interaction, and interaction design, I decided to take a leap away from the computer industry and into photography, and I’ve loved it ever since.
When on the job, I try to be as unobtrusive as possible. After a wedding, I want the guests to remember the photographs, not the photographer. My style is heavily photojournalistic. I love details, and I love creating beautiful images.
I’ve had my work shown in Carolina Bride magazine, and I’m a member of the Triangle Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and Wedding and Portrait Professionals International (WPPI).
I’m Carson Grey, and I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with my husband, my infant son, and a couple of fluffy white cats.
